Who Could Use Door Entry Systems
In The Home
Despite the efforts of our police forces violence
is a threat now felt by everyone in society. While it is still
thankfully not commonplace, we all want to protect ourselves
and our families from unprovoked attack. It is ideal for disabled
persons. It allows the homeowner, whether in a flat or house,
to SEE and talk to callers. It'll almost always be a friendly
call, but the CHOICE is YOURS. If it's a delivery you can have
the parcel left on the doorstep for you to collect when the
delivery person has left or, you can open the door using your
judgment. If it's someone to "read a meter" you can
see identification WITHOUT OPENING the door first. There is
no doubt that Door Entry systems are reassuring for young and
old alike - especially those at home alone.
Business
If your main office door is on the street you could
use Door Entry systems just like a homeowner to identify callers,
allowing entry only to those you choose. In an unmanned reception
area it allows other staff the same freedom of choice, and the
ability to get rid of unwanted callers without direct encounter
of any kind. On a more serious level still, computer departments,
cash offices, director's suites and in fact any sensitive areas
could benefit from the CHOICE that the Door Entry system puts
in the hands of the VIEWER, as opposed to the caller.
